Back-to-School-Night 2017 is:
Thursday, Sept. 14th Time: TBD.
The bunnies, Bonny & Beau are part of our classroom environment. They promote responsibility, respect & caring.
I "accidentally" adopted both rabbits. Our wonderful and hard-working school & classroom custodian, Mr. Armando Peril, needed a new home for his pet rabbit, Bonny. I have always loved bunnies! I had a pet rabbit as a child, I even had a "dorm-bunny" in college and I had always wanted a pet bunny but my husband said "NO!" And then, Armando needed a new home for Bonny when he and his family moved. I said, "How about Bonny lives here in my classroom, I love her, and you clean up after her?" It was the perfect situation (for me!)
Fast forward several months later... Bonny was at the amazing Bunny Rescue www.toomanybunnies.com (and that's because Mr. Atteridge was still very against bunnies at home so Bonny was "vacationing" at Marilyn's for the summer) when she fell in love with Beau. Don't worry -- everyone is spayed and neutered so there will be no baby bunnies! How could I possibly deny a home for a homeless bunny?!?!?
Now both bunnies live in my classroom and wonderful Mr. Armando helps take care of both bunnies.
All that being said, if you and your family are looking for a wonderful new pet, consider adopting a rabbit. Marilyn and Linda will help you adopt the perfect pet!
And the bunnies love:
